Meet the Smiles & Purrs Family

                      Sara                                         Eric                                      Mark

I am a former full-time veterinary technician with 11 years experience in the pet sitting field. I have volunteered part-time with an animal rescue and foster kittens when I can. I also am the very proud rescue mom of Amelia, a Domestic Longhair, and Hecubus, a very hyper but loving Beagle mix. When not pet sitting or chasing my own furry critters around, I enjoy dabbling in art and music. I have very happily lived in Carroll county since November of 2012 and look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family!

Hi! My name is Eric and

I've been an honorary member of Smiles & Purrs since the beginning of the business. Sara is my stepmom and I've been coming along with her on pet stops for years, but I joined the team officially in July of 2019. I've grown up with pets in the household my whole life, and I have gained experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, fish, chickens, turtles and even leopard geckos!

I am incredibly happy to introduce my husband Mark as my partner and part-time pet sitter with Smiles & Purrs! Mark works in the xray field maintaining medical equipment in both human and animal hospitals. He takes great pride in his work, especially knowing that through his job, he helps veterinary practices all over Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania to continue to care for animals in need. He has worked with a Doberman rescue and when I volunteered with a local animal rescue, he not only helped organize a fundraising event but shared foster care duties for two very sweet kittens. He joins me on weekend pet sitting stops and has great love for the animals I look after. You can be assured that Mark will treat your pets as if they were his own - with great love, compassion and kindness.
